i-Rose has developed a new asset tracking system

Laško – The computer development company i-Rose has developed a new asset tracking system that provides effective management control and support of business processes. They named it i-Track and presented it at the recent CeBIT, information and communication technology fair in Hanover, Germany.

i-Track is entirely the result of our own development, and will soon be patented. The novelty is especially suitable for companies that lease their assets to their business partners, they have a larger number in circulation, usually several thousand pieces. The system is suitable for returnable packaging (beer kegs, gas cylinders, containers, etc.) and various devices and machines, such as coffee machines, as the landlord often loses control over them. Now the owner of the asset will know exactly what condition the assets he has leased are in.

The i-Track system supports all business functions, at the same time, the operations are more transparent, and responsibilities in the process are clearly divided. “The system creates a database, and the parameters of the business are known at all times by business partner, asset or contractor,” explains Primož Kristan, Assistant Director of i-Rose. With a special i-Track module, they integrate users into the information system and set up appropriate databases. With the novelty, the company, which has existed since 1992 and employs 22 people, will now present itself at specialized fairs, and after an introductory presentation in Hanover, they have managed to establish more than 80 business contacts. “The hardware will be developed by our business partners, and our company will take care of software support and mobile computer support. As a pilot project, i-Track will be introduced this year in some major Slovenian companies, especially in the beverage industry and in the fields of energy and utilities, and at the beginning of next year we are already planning large series,“ announces Kristan.

The company from Laško is already cooperating with Iskratel, Telekom, the Laško Brevery, Mobitel, Hermes Softlab, RTV Slovenia and others with their products and knowledge.
